Carol's story
Carol lives on the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia, with her three much-loved cats, Bobby, Saul and Spooky.
She has three awesome adult children, and three gorgeous grandchildren who she loves getting together with for games days and home-cooked meals.
As well as being an astrologer and intuitive, she also loves to write and guide women to step into their full power.
In her spare time she loves cups of tea, walking along the beach, strength training, pilates, cooking, watching movies, and catching up with friends and family.
When I was very young, I became aware that there is a spiritual side of life that wasn't being talked about. I often had predictive dreams, past-life recall and could see spirit.
At nine I was given an old Ladies' Oracle by Cornelius Agrippa and discovered astrology through a friend of my grandmother's, which triggered my lifelong passions for astrology and divination.
When I was 16, a quirk of 'fate' landed me in a high profile media job as a producer for a top rating breakfast radio show, which was the beginning of my love for radio and broadcasting.
Then at 17, I met an elderly clairvoyant, who read my cards and astonished me with her knowledge of my life; identifying my own psychic abilities, and my potential to help and inspire others using these gifts.
I immediately went out and bought a deck of tarot cards and after self-studying for a number of years, started reading for others every Sunday in the Adelaide East End Market.
In the early 90s I attended a Seven Ray Seminar held by Eila Laurikainen and Aggie Lim, and then went on to study Esoteric Astrology 1 & 2, and a two year degree in Esoteric Psychology through the University of the Seven Rays. I have also studied predictive astrology with renowned Adelaide astrologer, Alice Portman, and more recently completed a Practitioner's Certificate of Horary Astrology through the School of Traditional Astrology.
Astrology is a powerful tool for not only self understanding, but also for understanding the universe and our place within it.
Learning astrology and studying the symbology of the tarot has assisted me to understand and connect with divine principles and energies that have helped me to navigate and embrace some of life's hardest challenges, including the death of my younger sister, Tanya, and finding the strength to give up alcohol and embrace my full power.
