Full Moon in Pisces, Partial Lunar Eclipse, 18 Sept 24, 12.04pm ACST

The Full Moon is a time of completion and reaping what you have sown since the last New Moon in Pisces six months ago.
The Full Moon is a partial lunar eclipse, when the Sun partially blocks the energy of the Moon, temporarily limiting the Moon’s qualities of using feelings or intuition to navigate a situation.
The Sun in Virgo is devoted to perfection, analysis, precision, efficiency and service, while the Moon in Pisces is much more dreamy, emotional, and needs to ebb and flow.
With the Sun in Virgo temporarily blocking the Moon in Pisces, we may suddenly and temporarily allow a need for rational explanations to rule over our heart and intuition. This makes us susceptible to manipulation, and the temptation to yielding to the needs of others for the sake of ease, rather than continuing to follow the road-less-travelled, that the recent cosmic influences have been impelling us to explore.
Don’t allow sudden feelings of doubt or inferiority to impede your surrender to the spiritual work you are being called to do. Deepening into the unknown can still be achieved by trusting that while we may not have all the precise details and plans, we are part of a universal plan, with a spiritual purpose to fulfil.
Uranus in Taurus also features in this Full Moon phase, as it is sextile the Moon and trine the Sun. Uranus and the Moon can bring sudden manifestation of subconscious forces, the attainment of sudden success, or a sudden change in one’s circumstances.
Uranus helps liberate us from what is preventing our true Soul expression, so with an emphasis on perfecting our skills (Virgo) and releasing past trauma (Moon in Pisces), Uranus can provide the “eureka!” moment, where we gain sudden clarity and insight into what we need to bring into manifestation.
Neptune and the North Node are closely associated with this Full Moon in Pisces phase.
Neptune is the planet of transpersonal and unconditional love and is the modern ruler of Pisces, emphasising the Piscean themes of dedication to redemption, self-sacrifice and to “save or be saved”.
If we have not yet worked through childhood issues relating to feelings of abandonment, being neglected, drug or alcohol abuse of a parent or guardian, illness or hospitalisation of a parent or guardian, or other issues where our needs were not met and we didn’t feel safe, then we may find ourselves being triggered by this Full Moon phase.
If however, we have done the inner work and healing needed, this can be a powerful phase where we let go of fear, and take a greater steps towards helping and healing others on their own path to redemption.
Neptune expressed positively, conjunct Moon and the North Node, brings profound and spiritual associations with women, aiding in the healing of old conditioning and past behaviours. Here we can recognise by being vulnerable and not blaming others, what patterns need to be broken for further spiritual development.

You may also suddenly realise which associations are creating feelings of inferiority, are fault-finding or critical, overly cerebral, have expectations of perfection, or prevent you from exploring your connection to something beyond physical (metaphysical).
Neptune when expressed on a lower level can also create illusions, delusions, escapism, or seeing life through rose-coloured glasses. We need to be very careful that we do not go unconscious, as a means of escaping what we know to be true.
During the Full Moon phase, Mercury in Virgo is opposite Saturn in Pisces. Oppositions require us to balance and reconcile opposing energies. Mercury in Virgo creates a thirst for knowledge, practical thinking, and well-grounded expertise, while Saturn in Pisces requires us to work selflessly for the greater good. It tests the personal responsibility we are taking for our lives so that we can live without fear. Balance can be attained by creating a plan which increases our knowledge and expertise in areas where we can help heal and support others in their own spiritual growth. Failure to find a balance can manifest as nervous disturbances such as IBS or other gut issues, anxiety or depression.
Venus in Libra is square Pluto in Capricorn, which can manifest as a build up of tension causing power struggles, arguments or contrariness in relationships over money, resources, or where values have been compromised for financial gain. Ask yourself if a need for comfort is keeping you in a situation where you have lost your own self-identity.
The Dream Card I have chosen for the Full Moon in Pisces is CONSCIOUSNESS.

“The Seeker’s light shows him the way.
“Consciousness is awareness plus appropriate action. To perceive a thing to be true is to act upon it.
“It is not enough to be aware or go off into wild imaginings and mystic realms. Illusions drain us of the creativity we need for transforming our lives. Awareness without commitment to act leads to self-deception with no purpose. We do not create our own reality. We open through commitment and integrity to what is actually real, not what we want to be real. Let our actions be consciously chosen.
“Your task is to firm up areas where you know the true path but have not yet followed it.”
If you are drawn to one of the outer images on the dream card, please comment below and I will let you know what it means.
